Criteria for AIYP Membership

To apply for AIYP membership you must have either completed an Approved Yoga Teacher Training or completed an alternative Yoga Teacher Training and be able to supply evidence of a commitment to and respect for Scaravelli influenced yoga.

In addition you will need to have a valid First Aid Certificate. Please note that a First Aid qualification is valid for three years.

Approved Yoga Teacher Training

You are eligible for membership of the AIYP if you have completed a Yoga Teacher Training course with any of the following teacher trainers:

  • Peter Blackaby
  • Gary Carter
  • Marilyn Freedman/ Rosamunde Jordan at Morley College
  • Chloe Fremantle Blegvad
  • Sophie Hoare
  • Mary Stewart
  • John Stirk
  • Bill Wood
  • Anne-Marie Zulkahari

Alternative Yoga Teacher Training

If you have not completed an Approved Yoga Teacher Training you may still be eligible for membership of the AIYP and for AIYP insurance. You will need to give details of your Yoga Teacher Training Course and you will also need to supply evidence of a commitment to and respect for Scaravelli influenced yoga.
