This workshop forms part of the London YTTC 09 - 11 with a limited number of extra spaces available. 10am - 1300 general asana class with the focus on hand balances given by Anne-Marie Zulkahari and Giovanni Felicioni. 2 - 4pm Giovanni Felicioni: Anatomy Talk 5 - DYNAMICS OF ORIENTATION & ARTICULATIONIn this workshop we will explore what is perception and coordination and how this becomes orientation and articulation. A Journey of a Thousand Miles Begins with the First Step. Come and join Anne-Marie Zulkahari and Giovanni Felicioni on a yoga day that has, as its focus, the everyday practice of walking. In this workshop we will explore contemporary bio-mechanical and co-ordinative understanding of the act of walking, linking it to the yoga asanas, the principles of yoga and contemporary movement research and thought. Ample time will be made for self-process, questions, discussion and coming back to the practical theme of walking in the world.
